In a bizarre crossover event that challenges traditional expectations, Ubisoft has announced an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Mission Disclosed

According to the official statement, "An unusual encounter leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where whispers of banned ceremonies and terrifying changes reverberate through the obscurity." The plot introduces a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who charges the characters with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a secret group.

The questline focuses on "bizarre experiments and a terrifying foe" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Places and Metamorphoses

The trailer showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser concludes with a powerful sequence showing a character, probably the captive, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
